What you should expect from a kitchen fitter or supplier in Dublin.
- Knowing what channel is the easiest to communicate with the various parties, it always helps to reduce anxiety for everyone. First step is to make contact. (Riki 0851666000 – If I don’t answer please WhatsApp.) Ideally, we need to see where you’re at in your remodeling journey and how we can help.
- Ideally, we’d like to help you pick the supplier that best suits your needs. Even if it’s not us, having a reliable supplier makes a big difference for both of us. (Remember to aways ask for lead times and if something is on sale, and you need a replacement part. Can it be got!? The cost of getting a TaskRabit in Poland to ship parts adds up!)
- If you don’t have a supplier we’d like you to sit down with one of our preferred kitchen designers. Cheapest is not always the best and knowing your kitchen will fit is always worth the peace of mind. A site survey should be completed, at this stage. Be warned, if you measure your kitchen and take those measurements to the supplier, this will be considered the survey. (All this stage, should always be free – Unless you’re going for high end bespoke. A one of one project is always going to cost considerably more. If you measure yourself, I’d recommend including photos of the whole area and ask for confirmation, if any other measurements are required. Where possible, we hand this duty off to the suppliers.)
- It’s in our best interest to make sure everything goes smoothly, as we don’t get paid until completion. We’d like to be in and out within a week. (Not including trades outside our scope.)
- Once a site survey, design drawings and the various specs have been completed, we can give you a price for the whole job or whatever works are required. We normally include a description of works outlining the scope of our role. It’s in your best interest, to have some documentation outlining what works your contractors are carrying out.
- Schedule of payments. (Don’t pay for everything up front!) Payments and fees are staged. Normally, materials and some kind of starting charge, then scheduled payments as the various tasks are completed.
- An estimate of job time will be outlined in the schedule.
- Once the job is completed, final invoices will be issued and final payment to be made on completion of the job.
